Peppino's Italian Chop House - Fairview

Nice trendy atmosphere, food is delectable, service attentive. I had the appetizer Mozzarella Corozza, hand breaded mozzarella with sauce and it was savory in the way it stimulated your appetite. From the Griglia I choose the Filet Fiorentina, cooked perfect medium rare with a lively seasoning, accompanied with mashed potatoes and broccoli. I had not tried the Chop House Griglia entrees before highly recommended. The Signature pasta dishes and Classic favorites are traditional Italian comfort food. Peppinos always has a specials board too which adds a variety to the menu that one appreciates. Always a great experience!

We had dinner reservations for a party of four and were sitting on a comfortable table immediately upon arrival. Our server was new and still familiar with the specials, but it did an excellent job to offer us everything necessary for a pleasant culinary experience. Our food was delicious. The parts were plentiful and filled. The selection of wines and beer kept the table happy. We were very pleased with the atmosphere, staff and food. Our experience in the reservation was very pleasant. The parking lot and the outdoor terrace of the property are spacious and beautiful.

It's a tedious attempt at eating. The outside looks pretty dumpy, the parking lot is not ideal. There is a strange terrace, the brick has stacked some strange looking windows in a concrete wall. Very interesting. To the front door, but you can't use it? do not worry that you have to go through the entrance of the terrace. Where's the terrace when you were? Who knows that it was not clearly marked, so hope that you will mean your hiking boots to find your way in. The interior looks dated and decayed. There were lights that flicker on the dimly illuminated Dungeon dining room, so you could not see the torn tiles on the floor. Extension cable for lights just hanging on the ceiling. The table had beautiful white table cloths, but it was placed paper on top. I didn't think that laundry service was so expensive to extend the service life of some tablecloths. While they do not have a dress code with other males dining room wearing jeans and t shirts they have no hat of any kind strictly enforced. Our server was great and attentive the food was good, but the price delivered fine food and that was just not. Many boxes remained uncontrolled, I would recommend trying somewhere else.

I am 72 years old and wear a hat most of my life, including fancier restaurants. Went to Peppinos with a small group of people. After I was there for 10 minutes, the waitress told me I had to remove my hat or I would be thrown away. This is NOT a five-star restaurant. My hat looked much more beautiful than the shorts that others wore. I never go back. Terrible politics.
