I tried the beef pho with brisket, flank and meatballs the other night and it was ok but I've definitely had better. I found this soup bland yet flavourful all at the same time. The broth is a little heavy on the star annice for me and when you add the noodles it becomes flavourless except for a pleasant aftertaste of Asian spices but not so much of beef flavour. The broth's aroma was also overwhelming with five spice/star annice and it filled my home. The meat is clearly pre sliced and packaged for soups but they had that funny I've been refrigerated too long smell that was sort of off putting. The nice thing was the noodles were undercooked so they stayed a nice texture in the soup instead of turning to mush half way through and they give you a lot of cilantro and green onions. The presentation was also nice however I do judge on how you pack your food to go and putting 8 fire hot chicken gyoza into a paper bag so they can all stick together only to tear open when someone has to pull them apart is really not a good time. This place is ok it's just not the flavours I'm looking for in a bowl of pho
You will never feel sorry for eating at Pho 7!! Spectacular Vietnamese cuisine with strong flavors for a decent price. We pick up from here regularly and tonight the gentleman behind the counter was kind enough to help me carry our drinks to my car when not even requested. A quality small business that I hope stays open forever. I love living across the street from Pho 7!
The broth is unbelievable. So rich tasty, absolutely perfect. The best bowl of pho I’ve ever had. The egg rolls banh mi were delicious too. This place will definitely be my go to for pho!
Never get boba tea from this place. Their tapioca wasn’t good at all. I took Taro blended (they serve only blended tea) tea with tapioca.
