Score: 3.5<br/ <br/ Foodwise, it is not bad. I am glad to find this restaurant nearby. The drink selection is somewhat missing kicks though. Such as Iced milk tea, it was very plain and very non-Malaysian. It tasted like some commercial product powder tea within the milk.
Ten years ago, you would not have thought that Castle Hill was such a happening place. So many new things are now in Castle Hill, in particular the piazza and there's a metro line that will be there so it will be more accessible. I recently noticed there's so many new eateries including Gami (Korean Fried Chicken famous from Melbourne), Betty's Burgers and Pappa Rich. There's so much going on in Castle Hill Piazza.
Their concept is simple: bringing the traditional Malaysian Coffee shops into the 21st Century. Their continual expansion to become the household name of ‘authentic Malaysian cuisine’ replicated for the eighth time at its new home in Castle Hill, opening just a month ago, with owner, Grace at the helm.
It’s new in castle hill so perhaps their service hasn’t been the greatest, guess that’s why there are many one star rating. But give them some time, at least food is great! Been there a few times, love the fried rice noodle, char kuey teow(fried flat noodle), wat tan hor (flat noodle with gravy), roti canai and chicken rice. Will come back to try their other food!
