I went to this place for lunch today, il Piccolo Forno for work reasons. The small, squalid, soulless restaurant environment was full of people. Three of us arrived, and we had three appetizers, three steaks and three chips. The service was punctual and fast. The appetizer included three slices of soppressata, two slices of capicollo, a grilled bruschetta, a pancake, a slice of cheese with crushed olives and some aubergines in oil. The house wine was definitely below average. When the steak arrived, there were actually 2 of them and they filled a plate, perhaps the owner was deceived by the name BIS-TECCA thought that two should be brought to the plate. Even for the potatoes, the portion was gigantic and they had excellent flavor, because they were not frozen potatoes but those from the greengrocer, very tasty. The steaks aside from the fillet were cooked rare and were excellent. Three cafes closed the lunch. I gave one star to the service because at the end of the meal we ordered coffee and were invited to take it at the counter, making us understand to clear the table. I understand that there were people waiting and the table was needed but I cannot tolerate this because in the end I pay and thank them. For what I mentioned, in addition to 1/2 liter of wine, the bill was 80 euros which divided by three equals 26.60 euros. Judge for yourself the balance between the order and the price.
