Captain D's Seafood - Festus

Didnt bother to take picture, should have, my bad...The 2 pieces of fish 5" inches long and for loss of proper description, about an inch in diameter. Never seen 2 sadder pieces of fish portions, of all the times, all the time we visited this restaurant ..

The 4 Piece Batter Dipped Fish Meal fish tasted fine but the fried okra was undercooked. The coating was soft and without color. The Fried Pickles had the same problems as the okra frying result. It tasted as if the pickle juice was rinsed off before frying so the pickle flavor was barely there.

If I could add a picture I would. The fillets for the meal are extremely small and the fries are definitely old... not worth $10 for the meal. The jalapeño poppers were the only good thing

Its was cold and over cooked and mac and cheese looked like a blob of cheese

I always have the best experience at this location. Food always fresh and cooked perfectly. Staff always prompt n friendly.
