Pizza Phil - Flassan

This place will win no awards for best looking restaurant but it ticks every others box. Phil is a great host with and even greater hat and he will take good care of you. Food is basic but well cooked and served quickly.

If you visit bedoin and want food and drink this is THE place to go! Visited twice over a 4 day visit to the area, my mate tried the pizza and I had a steak on the first visit and really enjoyed it. On the 2nd visit we both had the most fabulous meal of black pig which was delicious and really must be tried. Wash it all down with a local wine or a superb St stefanus Belgian lager. If I ever visit the area again I will definitely be going again.

To your average Joe British diner Pizza Phil sounds like a cheap diner doing nothing but pizza run by a British guy called Phil. OK so one of these are a fact the guy who runs this is called Phil and that’s where the facts end. Phil is an eccentric top hat wearing Frenchman , speaks only a little English but serves rather more than Pizza. Wonderful French salads and pasta dishes that are utterly at home in this mountain town of Bedouin. Fantastic genuine French food, Good house wine, good prices. What’s not to like?

I was there in august, during a bike route from hungary, alone with my bicycle. I would like to eat a pizza, drink a coffe and a cola... altogether it was 48 EURO.... I was fool, I've payed the bill...I was betrayed.

My family and I visited here last week. We avoided pizza restaurants for the first few days as wasn't really what we were looking to eat in France but in Bedoin we found it hard to avoid as so many of the restaurants serve Italian food. That aside pizza Phil was one of our more enjoyable evening meals. The food was honest, lots of choice and reasonably priced. The pizzas are a large size and they were happy to box our leftovers up so in truth we had two meals for the price of 1! service was really friendly and fast. I speak basic French (I can order a meal at least) and they were approachable and appreciated our efforts which was a nice attitude change from many of the other restaurants in the area. Overall a pleasant, no thrills, family meal that suited our party of 5 and satisfied all taste buds for a reasonable price.
