Brasserie des Deux Palais - Fleuré

My boyfriend and I decided to have lunch here after running for shelter to get out of the rain when sightseeing nearby on a Monday in July 2017. To say the restaurant was full is an understatement! Our waiter found a table or four that two people were sat on a tool one of the joining tables aside so that we could have it which was a lovely touch, after all, he could've just told us that they we're full and turned us away but he didn't, he went above and beyond to help us... Bare in mind we looked like drowned rats by this point... I had a hot chocolate which went cold quite quickly but I didn't mind. I also had the chicken Caesar salad which was lovely and rich with big chunks of chicken breast in. The salad was slightly off though, again I didn't mind, at the time it was just nice to be under cover in a traditional French brasserie that looked like it was covered in history. My boyfriend has the club sandwich and said it was lovely, I had a taste too and really it... you got lots for your money for this dish as it also came won French fries . Just an additional point, I visited to toilets whilst I was here as well and they were so lovely! Like walking through a time machine...Overall, a really elegant. classy and traditional eatery. You would definitely go again and recommend it for a brunch/ lunch time meal. The staff were also friendly and very helpful even if there was a slight language barrier. Have a try!

An excellent Christmas meal among colleagues! A generous kitchen, impeccable service and a table at the corner of fire is a real pleasure. Thank you for your welcome and your little attention and especially to Mr P. We had a great convivial and relaxed moment. The manager is always pleasant and in good mood. I highly recommend! MC

A must-see address when I travel to Fleuré. Perfect home with a top team at all levels. Excellent quality ratio. Delightful cuisine. Smaller the fireplace that adds a user-friendly touch. I highly recommend this address.
