Zoe was an excellent server! She was very informative and attentive.

After being seated at the restaurant, the power went out unexpectedly. Despite understanding that it was beyond the restaurant's control, the lack of preparation and poor handling of the situation prompted this review. The ventilation system, which exhausted smoke from the wood burning ovens, also shut off, leading to the place quickly filling with smoke and causing many customers to leave. Alarms were set off due to the smoke, making it difficult to hear anything. Although the ovens were eventually put out and the smoke began to dissipate, the restaurant restarted them without concern for the discomfort of the remaining customers. After waiting 20-30 minutes in hopes that the power would be restored soon, we were forced to leave due to the overwhelming smoke causing our clothes to smell and our eyes to burn. No compensation, such as a free drink, was offered while we waited. The entire experience was chaotic and disappointing. Fortunately, we left and went downtown to Odettes where we enjoyed a wonderful meal.
