The first thing you notice is the emphasis on design and decor it was great. The place was immaculate, which can sometimes be hard to find in flushing.Food was 10/10. We ordered: pork soup dumplings, braised meatball, cumin lamb, sautéed eggplant, and seafood fried udon. We for sure over ordered but I couldn’t stop eating it was that good! Our favorite was the lamb and least favorite was surprisingly the soup dumplings. Only regret was not ordering the Peking duck, but will definitely be back to try that.We also ordered a fun pineapple beer drink. Tasted more like a sparkling pineapple drink than an actual beer, but either way, it was tasty. The presentation was awesome too was served in a large barrel that you can pour yourself, which was perfect to split for three people.Servers were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Would definitely recommend this place!
Stayed at the hyatt place next door. Tried this restaurant once and had to come back again the next day. Probably the best Chinese food I have ever had. If I lived in New York, I would probably eat here at least once a week. Sean was the manager, and he was really helpful. He taught us how to properly eat soup dumplings. Great food, outstanding service, and the prices are very reasonable. Thank you.
Absolutely wonderful food and service. The food was very flavorful and as per their description in the menu. Didn’t miss a single note of flavor. I would surly recommend the kimchi cheese fried rice, the seafood fried rice, the soup dumplings, and the walnut shrimp (the shrimps were large and beautiful cooked). Beautiful restaurant. The staff is beyond amazing. Everyone was so friendly, kind and attentive. We celebrated a birthday and they were so warm and friendly to be around!Make a reservation! There’s no parking. But get there early and check for municipal parking. Regardless of what time you go, it’s a busy area so parking can be tough so allow time. There’s so many areas nearby to visit and walk off that amazing meal you’ll have.
This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We got 1/2 roasted duck, lotus root stuffed with sweet rice, tofu and duck bone soup and lamb. The lamb was melt on your mouth. Duck was cooked perfectly and was a joy to eat. The soup was so flavorful and clean tasting. The house salad with the dressing was amazing. The lotus root was lightly sweetened and also was delicious. Try the pineapple beer and the pink sweet rice wine. Both drinks were delicious. We will definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was top notch.
The atmosphere is so comforting, the food is amazing and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The price point is a little on the higher side BUT well worth it.
