The staff at the restaurant quickly put on their masks when they saw us, but did not cover their noses and mouths while taking our order at the counter. None of the workers wore masks the entire time we were there, and even 15 minutes later when they served us. We also noticed that none of the kitchen staff were wearing masks when we peeked in. The restaurant had all doors closed, making it feel enclosed. I wanted to support their business during this tough time, but realized that the restaurant is not following proper COVID safety guidelines and may not be a safe place to get food.
I had a great time dining at this restaurant. The Cahn bee (water spinach noodle soup) was delicious!
The food was delicious and had a unique taste that wasn't typical of Southern Vietnamese cuisine. We tried the pho bo ga, pho ga, and bun cha Hanoi, all of which were delicious. The bill was very reasonable and we look forward to trying other dishes in the future.
Family of 4 filled the table with ordered dresses: Papaya salad, mixed entree ( rice paper spring rolls, won tons), pho go ba, fried chicken and rice. all have slept with the egg yolk. Unfortunately, our drinks orders were forgotten and recollections after eating were needed. a great viet...option from the lively barkly street area.
Love it. Doesn't serve the typical Vietnamese fair and IMO more provincial food. Some of the dishes really reminded me of my trip to Hoi An.
