Love this place. Historic charm. Food is like home cooking only better. Friendly atmosphere.

Mexican nights (Mondays Tuesdays) are great! Great margaritas, chimichangas, and carnitas tacos!

Best shredded prime rib beef sandwich. Great drinks also. 1/23/24 lunch was luke warm. Again a great sandwich just need to remind kitchen of holding temps

Cozy homestyle restaurant. They are facing the same short staffing issue that a lot of places are facing though. We walked in and didn't get acknowledged for 30 minutes one time so we headed out.

This seems to be everybody's favorite place to go if you're in the Forest Lake area. Lots of steaks, prime rib, the usual Iceberg with one tomato side salad. I think they've had the same menu since 1985. And just about every time, I've ordered the tenderloin tips which are tasty. Even though they have broccoli as a side dish, I do feel like there's not much for healthy food. This is definitely a meat and potatoes kind of place . Some people like that, I'd like to try something new. The bar is fun if you get there early for your table.
