Jamaica Blue - Forster

During our two-month holiday in Forster, we visited Jamaica Blue more than twelve times. Each visit, we were greeted by friendly staff and received exceptional service. Located at the Stockland shopping center, Jamaica Blue has a welcoming outdoor seating area. The barista consistently prepared delicious lattes that were both smooth and flavorful, which is why we kept coming back.

I stopped by Jamaica Blue the other day because I have always had good service, food, and coffee there. I ordered a cappuccino and avocado toast with maple bacon. The staff at the counter seemed unenthusiastic, but the waiter at my table was friendly and cleaned up before bringing my coffee. However, when the coffee arrived, it tasted weak and watery, as if a bean had barely touched the water. The avocado toast did not resemble the picture on their website at all - it was a thin slice of sourdough bread with a sparse layer of old, nearly grey avocado. The poached egg was alright, but the bacon on the side was a greasy stack of unappetizing oil. The feta was in cubes and lacked flavor, not crumbled as expected. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Came here to get a nice morning cappuccino coffee. Coffee is to hot and tastes weak. It’s a flat white no foam. I asked for a replacement and got the same thing again except hotter

The service was poor and the food was mediocre. I would recommend skipping this restaurant. The toast was overcooked and the bacon was undercooked. It's not a place I would recommend.

Beautiful breakfast eggs bendict only Cafe serving cooked breakfast at 8.30am glad we did has improved greatly good portions and quality. No other cafes making made to order food at 8.30am great coffee good seating wide. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good service and friendly.value for money.
