Brothers Bbq - Fort Collins

I just got back from Nashville off the heels of some amazing BBQ. So I was keeping in mind that this is just a chain, and it wouldn?t be fair to compare the two side by side. BBQ is my fav and I have eaten it across the globe. First, great service and good lay out for an old gas station. The space in comfortable and well decorated, I enjoyed looking at all the license plates. The food, it?s ok.. I didn?t think the chicken or the brisket had much of a smoke flavor atall, almost flat. It was also luke warm at best, and given the price I would expect a higher standard. Mashed potatoes and gravy were good, the coleslaw is alright, maybe a little bland. I will say they didn?t short me on fries, I ordereda ?Ball? of fries and was pleasantly surprised. Side of rolls are just buns, but soft. Sauces are mostly sweet, but not bad. The burnt ends were my favorite meat, but they were still underwhelming, mostly because they were not thatwarm. They are newly opened, so I will revisit in a few months to see if they got there mojo down. Turn the smoker up ?? Add or display military discount

This is a chicken specific review. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Chicken can be tricky to prepare properly. The meal I had was average. No hint of smoked bbq flavoring. Owners, Please continue to improve on this product. Make it flavorful and you'll improve your customer experience greatly.

Staff is awesome! Food is great. Moist brisket and pork. (I got the 2 meat plate). Sides of Mac n cheese and mashed and gravy with cornbread were outstanding on their own, but with the bbq, it was a fantastic meal. Food wasn't hot enough for me, but it was re made (not nuked) without question or wait. Again.the staff was very helpful and friendly. I wanted to add to this review. I have eaten at three barbecue places in the last month and this was the best barbecue of thethree

I've tried both take out and indoor dinning here multiple times in order to give a review! The BBQ is sadly nothing special. Friendly staff, I like the sauces, it's a very convenient location and they are open later which is why I can give 3 stars. I recently had the banana pudding in a to go order and it was put in a styrofoam container that spilled out over everything. I'd suggest a container like the one the side salad comes in that has a closed lid. :

Fort Collins has alot of choices when it comes to BBQ. I had high hopes for this since I pass by this location quite a bit, but my dreams were crushed. When my family walked in no one greeted us, no one offered suggestions. I felt like I was a bother for being there. Not even a thanks for coming to try us. There was no smell of food cooking. No warmth. We ordered and it was very expensive and I went well let me give the food a chance. The food was okay. It seemed like themeat was steamed and not smoked or bbq'd. The mashed potatoes were good. The brisket and the chicken were like I made them in a crock pot.... coulda made better at home. Nothing to write home about..... nothing worth coming back for.. Iunderstand the world is short staffed and opening a business during a pandemic is rough, but at least show some sort of customer service to make up for the lack of love put into the food.
