The Lanes Fort Meade

A wonderful 36-lane bowling alley located at Ft. Meade, MD. This establishment is likely over 50 years old, bringing back memories of how long I have been in this area of Maryland. The lanes are in good shape, the equipment is modern, and the balls are of good quality. The facility is clean and the customer service is excellent. They were very accommodating to our group, especially to a special needs child by providing a ball ramp and rails. The food and grill area is currently operating under COVID restrictions, with orders for pick-up only as the dining area is closed off. There was a bit of a wait as there was only one person working that area, but the food was satisfactory. Overall, it is a great place for families to have a good time.

Nice facilities, good lanes, an helpful staff. The building and lanes are well taken care of. The staff was able to help any time we asked. They also were able to provide a slide assist for the bowling ball for my son. For all afternoon of play food for two adults and a kid to include shoes it was 50 dollars. The food was the most expensive but not over priced. I would say it's the same as any modern well maintained bowling alley but not as crowded. I even forgot my phone on the table and two hours later it was still there when I came back to search for it. Definitely a good place for the family.

This is a 36 lane house that is lovlcatwd on the Fort Meade base. To get in you have to be on a list or have military ID. Nice lanes but for a tournament that is full. The room is limited for all the equipment bowlers carry. Clean place. Great family atmosphere. But will cost you to open bowl. Never amazes me now how expensive open bowling became. For a bowler wanting to practice in the evening. It is unheard of at those prices. Fun staff, though only spoken to two of them. But such friendly folks. No lottery sale at this location that I've seen. Pro shop was closed which was surprisingly since there was a tournament. The lanes were fair to shoot on. Can tell they take care of the lanes which is good. Equipment was not to dirty after 3 games of Bowling I look forward to more tournaments here

I had such a great time at this restaurant! It's affordable, spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for parties. I had a blast here!

I really enjoy this affordable diner located on the military base. My friends and I like to get inexpensive meals and take advantage of the great deals offered during the week. I am looking forward to when they reopen.
