Chef Chai - Fort Shafter

Food is excellent concert night next door at Blaisdell, so the place was quite busy. A little “tight” as far as spacing of tables goes. Overall however, a nice place and convenient to the concert venue.

Another great meal at Chef Chai! We had a large group and they did a great job with service for everyone. Chef uses unique sauces to bring out the flavors in the menu items they offer. A blend of Asian flavors come together for pure enjoyment.

Incredibly delicious and creative menu! We had a lovely dining experience at Chef Chai's. Our only regret is that we couldn't try everything— so we will be coming back!

Chef Chai never disappoints! The service and food are amazing. The appetizer platter duck tacos and katafi shrimp especially are tasty and unique! The filet mignon with foie gras puff pastry was cooked to perfection. The coconut cake is perfect. Even better than the one at Halekalani which is thought of as best in Hawaii! This happened to be a concert night with Robert Cazimero. What a great event. He is a star! He works the room and his two hula dancers are amazing!

The Full Moon Dinner and concert is such a deal! Great food the appetizers alone can be a meal but everything was so good. Add Robert Cazimero's concert to that and it was a wonderful evening. Our server was so accommodating and efficient. I would recommend this dinner as well as their regular dinner.
