Surf N Turf Tacos - Fort Shafter

I ordered the beer battered fish tacos and omg they are good!!! The building itself was a little hot, but the sitting area is outside so it was t that big of a deal. Again, the fish tacos were amazing!

Didn't think it'd be in Hawaii but this is the best Mexican food I've ever had! We had the shrimp tacos and the fried potatoes, the flavor was so on point! Though there may be a language barrier sometimes, the guys helping us were super nice!! The price is soooo good for the phenomenal food!! Highly recommended!

The staff at the register did not seem happy to serve compared to others around the city. I got a carne asada and grilled fish taco. The fish was excellent since it was fresh, but the rest of the food is cooked ahead of time. The place is set up like a chipotle, but it isn 't super clear. The make it a combo and make it a meal seem like the same thing but are two totally different things, so make sure to specify properly. Also, all sauces, guacamole, and all proteins are surcharges, so if you get what you want, your two tacos come out to like 16-19 dollars. It 's not worth it considering the service and quality of food. It 's not amazing, but it 's not bad. There is no ambiance it just feels like fast food. But here 's the things, across the street, there is a food hall and fast food like restraunts, but they elevate their ambiance just enough to give it more value.

Awesome food. Had the slow cooked carnitas in a salad bowl and it was fantastic. I'm coming back next time I'm in Waikiki.

Amazing Mexican food! We got the best tacos guacamole. Quick, easy, and delicious to eat on the picnic tables right outside. High chair was available for our little one too!
