La Playa Maya-north Side - Fort Worth

Excited to try out LA Playa Maya Nice atmosphere,but the waitress was in such a rush!! My grandson didn't get any water,she overlooked our 13 yr old grandson most of the evening! She was speeding through everything, appetizers...our drink orders shemade feel anxious! I was thankful for the owner/manager that came out to check on us several times. She was calmer,nice anddidn't rush us! Our fajitas were not seasoned,chicken was dry I had hoped for an amazing meal, i even had to order cheese as aside! I wish it had been more of a better dining experience!

Was looking for food and this was recommended online so I decided to check it out. The entrance is through the outdoor patio which isn?t marked clearly to let you know this is infact how to get in. So don?t do what I did and walk up the ramp. It?s inthis old house that has been converted which I find to be a neat concept. The staff was very friendly and the food was prettygood. However, when my drink can?t stay full I take issue with that. All our food was correct but anything in between thewaitress was hard to find. Hot sauce was pretty good and in the spicer side so if you do t like spice dip with caution. Chipswere thin so they were breaking while I?m trying to scoop. Ordered table side guac which was good but very heavy on the lemonwhich I guess they were out of lime and needed salt . It was extremely chunky and the thin chips made it a challenge to eat.Then I got the combo fajitas which were pretty good, they had a seasoning on them perhaps Tijuana. I?m not sure, it was a littledifferent but good all the same. Their veggies needed a little more flavor to be honest. They also didn?t have homemade flourtortillas. You also pay upfront. Overall It was pretty good and I?ll be back for another meal.

Great spot for lunch. The menu has a good variety. The food is consistently awesome. My go-to are the Fish Tacos. Fast and friendly service.

Beautiful building! You can tell it’s been there a long time, but it’s been well taken care of.

Me and my husband love this place. Food is so great. I love how cozy it feels inside.
