Pre du Bonheur - Fougax-et-Barrineuf

Visited for dinner we had to book 19 social distancing measures based on Covid. We don't eat meat like seafood and vegetarian tar. The food was delicious. Make the apple cake and ice cream amazing for dessert!

The hosts of our apartment 15min told us about the restaurants. They told us that the owner changed, they tried it for lunch and would recommend it to us. They reserved us a table 3 days in advance and now the...best for me: they told him restaurant that I am vegan and the restaurant reacted that they will prepare a vegan menu for me. Never before had this in a traditional French restaurant! We sat outside on the terrace between locals, surrounded by natural tranquility. My friends ate both the 28€ menu with starter (3 options), main dish (7 options), cheese and dessert (4 options) and they both loved it! Stuff was very friendly and we can recommend it!

Sitting on the terrace of this restaurant under a shading canopy, on wrought iron chairs with cushions at wrought iron tables, we felt relaxed, welcomed and with great anticipation of a good meal. Having chosen the menu of the day, all the courses were explained...to us in detail to enable us to make an informed choice. One starter was a hot goat's cheese salad with a jar of honey to dress the cheese, and the other diner had a typical country salad with lardons, both accompanied by crusty bread. Our main course was a delicious pork casserole with pork rissoles, slices of sausage and very well cooked vegetables. The dessert chosen was sheep's milk ice cream with a vast choice of fruit flavours. To complete our meal we chose coffee and tea. All for 30 € for the two of us.

Family run restaurant in the foothills of the Pyrennees. Good menu that changes depending on the season service great and the owners can't do enough to make you welcome. Great for familes with a mini golf course outside and a spacious terrace in the...summer.

Delicious food and good service is located in a charming garden in the Fougax-Et-Barrineuf. The staff was very helpful and happy to meet my gluten-free requirements.
