Best food you guys gotta try this place highli recommended.
Food was great but no parking and a little over priced my opinion.
Wow! This place is great. My kids and I read an article a few weeks ago called Around the World in 80 Sandwiches and all we could think was challenge accepted. That article led us to Cemitas Nico to try our first Cemtita. With all the Mexican food we 've had tacos, burritos, tortas... none of us had ever tried a Cemita before, and now we have to make up for years of lost time. The star of the show is the bread. Typically I think of bread as just a vehicle to get the sandwich fillings to my face, but this sandwich certainly flips that around. We parked on a side street, and walked past the bakery in the other part of the building the smells of fresh bread and the sights of rack after rack of gigantic buns were the first clue to something special happening. Appearances can be deceiving, because it just looks like a giant hamburger bun, but it 's so light on the inside, and when it 's sliced and toasted the crispy edges bring out a wonderful flavor. Loaded with sesame seeds, the bread has an amazing flavor, and I considered buying a package just to make any sort of sandwich with for the rest of the week. Avocado, lettuce, and tomato give the sandwich some varying textures, but the chipotle peppers and roasted onions add so much flavor and depth. My boys asked for it on the side, because they were afraid of the spice, but there was very little heat here more of a smoky sweetness. I recommend asking for this sauce on the side, because they gave the boys a huge cup of them (much more than I got on my sandwich), and I could have eaten the a whole bucket of this stuff it was so good. There was enough Oaxaca cheese on each sandwich to feed ten people, but it is such important part of the experience Oaxaca is like a mild Mozzarella string cheese, and the giant pile of cheese strands add a welcome creaminess and contrast to the sandwich. I had the steak milanesa, while the boys had the chicken. Pounded thin like a schnitzel, it was crispy fried and delicious. Being so thin, the meat doesn 't overwhelm the other flavors, letting each layer of the sandwich do it 's thing. Most other sandwiches on our list are about the fillings, with the bread and the toppings The young man working the counter was super nice, very helpful in helping us make our choices, and making sure we were happy. The service was quick and friendly, and the sandwiches were so enormous that the boys were stuffed and still have half a sandwich each for lunch tomorrow. Great job Cemitas Nico. Wonderful meal.
