Hotel Rats Schanke - Frankenberg

Very nice hotel in frankenberg. polite, efficient staff. room very clean. the breakfast was continental, but a varied selection. would have been nice to have a water cooker etc. in the room. !

In frankenberg started raining and we wanted to sit inside and enjoy a lunch. we jumped into the caffe area. ordered a suppe and a strammer max (eier with the sun side up with ham). in a beer of course. good, decent lunch as they expect.

We enjoyed several meals here while we stayed in the adjacent hotel. the food was first-class and the workers were all very attentive and attentive. the small bar area has a wonderful atmosphere of the old world. a place where friends and neighbours come together to eat, drink and courteous talks. although we do not speak the language, we were warmly welcomed.

The hotel restaurant was rather disappointing. the menu in English was only a partial translation. the waiter did not speak English or did not want it. the food was just like that and I wouldn't recommend stopping here for lunch.
