Unfortunately, I cannot give this assessment to the new owners. eating was not good. it did not taste fresh. too much corn starch was used for thickening. no taste. I hope they improve drastically. this restaurant is required on the side of the city.
Limited selection was simply not very good eating. the huhn cashew din the beef broccoli was good, but the sesame chicken was bland. I had never had a tasteless egg roll the pork foo young was hard fat. I don't know how they did it. no sweet sour sauce, but a gray red sauce. the wontons were not good either. we will not eat there again.
It is a shame that I have eaten a lot here and then covid it happened and now it is just a waste of eating that they give them is the whole day they are closing the dining room it is just a wreck I got my order for fried huh in literally three minutes with no one in there they were sitting on their eating all day and it tastes like it wasn't a third chance they give them
Over boiled with bland aromen. not great. only bottled water
Always amazing food and service. They treat you like family. Been going there for more than 20 years and its always been the best spot in frankfort kentucky. EDIT: I am so devastated since the original owners have left. These new people are in dire need of training on how to make the food. The original recipes were amazing and had so much flavor but the new owners have gone with cheaper ingredients and don't even cook the food right anymore. Eggshells in rice constantly, chicken inedible due to being hard as a rock, old vegetables. It saddens me it's come to this. I'm not giving a 1 star because I love some of the original staff that are still there. I hope they can get their act together. Not my China wok.
