Contribuisci feedbackThis restaurant is more upscale than you would expect in an airport hotel, though it is laid out like a typical hotel coffee-shop. I had an acceptable but not exceptional Argentine rib-eye. Service was good enough, and an Italian wine by the glass was good,...though overpriced.
While you can have pizza and average pasta at the airport, why not enjoy a well-prepared meal at Flavors? They have dry aged beef for those with large appetites but you can also sample that same beef in a classic burger that is house ground...and fantastic. They have fresh fish, sometimes prepared at your table. Avoid the 7-8:30 time slot as it is too crowded and the tables are a bi close together; enough that you cannot tune out the conversations of others.
This may be a hotel restaurant, but the staff is friendly and attentive.and the food and variety is very good to excellent. I stay here a lot the night before i travel and you may think you are a captive audience, but they go the...extra mile to take care of you and your culinary wishes.
The Flavors is located in Sheraton Hotel in Frankfurt Airport. You need to walk through the reception and follow the signs. It is a very nice restaurant with wide options. They bring the raw meat/fish to your table for you to decide, how thick you want your meal and weigh it in front of you. Their wine menu is also good and the sommelier is ready to assist if necessary. The service is superb. If you are stuck at the Frankfurt airport and still want to enjoy a nice dinner, Flavors is for sure one of the best options.
Hotel restaurants are not usually fancy so finding a high quality restaurant during our stay in the Frankfurt Sheraton was really nice. The restaurant is spacious, modern decor and has an open kitchen (something I love in restaurants as it gives a more professional sensation). The restaurant speciality is dry aged steaks. We had dinner twice during our business meeting so as a group we tried many of the menus dishes. I personally tried the sliced steak with soya sauce which was very tender and on the second day I tried the grilled salmon which was really good. Overall the experience was good. My only takeaway for reducing a point in the rating is the relatively long time taken to serve the food which happened on both days.
