Up On Market Inn On Market - Frederick

The food was excellent quality and delicious. We came there with our kids wanting to get some dinner but worried they weren't going to be friendly with our stroller and active 3.5 year old. This place was relatively quiet which is what made us check it out. We are so happy we did! The wait staff and owner were so accommodating of our stroller and kids. We felt at home. The food came out fast. Only improvement would have been the drinks we ordered. They were just ok, and felt as if they could have been made stronger for the price (old fashioned and another whiskey type drink).

My husband and o decided to take a quick day trip to Fredrick. We thought we might stay the night at this B&B. We stopped in to the restaurant to have a appetizer and cocktail Ask a few questions about their rooms. The manager owner lady) told us we could have “googled it”. We orders two cocktails and had the “Empanada Filet Mignon “ It was greasy and tasted like a Steak’em. 3 for $17 ! My husband refused to eat his our waitress was polite and offered to bring us a new one. But it was terrible. The manager owner lady) came and told us in a very indignant voice that it was “Filet Mignon”. My husband then told her it wasn’t good. When we got our bill she still charged us half price!!!! Definitely will not be back!!! There are so many restaurants in Frederick with much better customer service !!!!!

Excellent French Bistro themed restaurant. Great food, well make cocktails, inviting and relaxing atmosphere. A must go to when in downtown Frederick!

My husband and I stopped for an early dinner on our way back from the shore. The atmosphere is cozy and the renovation beautiful. We had dinner, and I would say it’s more of a date place than a family dining experience. We enjoyed our meals, the cocktail, the history we learned about the place from the owner. Quite an enjoyable experience! (4 stars for high-prices entrées.

This restaurant has the best Onion Soup I’ve ever had. I recommend trying it if you come.
