My biggest issue with finding a decent 'Chinese ' restaurant is a strong dislike for greasy food. Fortunately this wasn 't greasy! The lo mein noodles are a bit heavy, but it was still good. The wonton soup was pleasant on a chilly day. The variety of appetizers was tasty, but a bit heavy as well. I will keep looking for other options, but will keep the Taste of China on my list of options.
Tried this place being new to the area. And just NO. Got the kung pao chicken. Whatever that is definitely is not real chicken. It was some imitation stringy nonsense that even if throughly chewed still ended up a stringy mess and a definite choking hazard. Never again.
Not what it used to be. Prices have gone up several times and it seems they changed vendors last year, replacing some of their core ingredients, rice, egg rolls, etc. Usually decent wait times, roughly 10 to 15 minutes.
I always order food from them. There food is amazing with great service.
I ordered beef with peppers, got two whole peppers and one whole onion with a few pieces of beef. Thought I give this place a shot considering China King is closed on Monday's. Never trying this place again.
