Charlie's Cafe - Freeport

I saw this story in my news feed about Charlie 's Cafe had the best cinnamon rolls in Minnesota. So, of course, I had to find out on my own OH BOY!!! It was well worth the 2 hour drive up 94 East to Freeport, MN!! Not only were the rolls the most scrumptious ever, we tried both the frosted and the caramel rolls, but the food was just as awesome!!! And served HOT!!! Our waitress, I can 't remember her name, was amazing and friendly! I highly recommend Charlie 's Cafe as a MUST GO TO spot!!!

My wife and I just stopped here for lunch before heading back home. It was pretty busy. The sign said to seat ourselves. There were.no tables open, but all the seats at the counter were open so we sat there. We figured there would be a wait and we were ok with that, but at least four different employees walked by us without acknowledging us or saying a word. Not so much as a 'Hello ' or 'someone will be right with you. Each one looked at us and walked by. After about five minutes of feeling invisible, we got up and left. Noone seemed to notice. They clearly didn 't need or want our business.

Make sure you get the caramel rolls on your way out

Great food. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Caramel roll was amazing.

Best breakfast I've had in awhile, eggs were cooked perfect.
