Linda Bean’s Maine Kitchen Topside Tavern

We were staying in Freeport and we were able to walk to this place to have dinner. We had 2 cups of clam chowder(28.00 that was more like a bowl. Very good and thick. Husband ordered a Caesar salad $14. was huge. He was expecting more of a side salad. We had two fried clam appetizers (70. that we could have split. I had one of their special drinks and hubby had a Ken Brown ale

Freeport should be called LLB CITY wow; spectacular flagship stores! But hunger struck and Topside Tavern was recommended. Sam our server was a delight and so enjoyable. Our Haddock and mussels dishes and beers (Allagash white lunch IPA Freeport Maine) where absolutely perfect.

I have brought my kids here before and the food has been excellent, until today. While my some really liked his seafood bake the lobster roll, crab cakes and Caesar were just okay. Overall bill too high for food quality.

Ordered corn beef Ruben sandwich.hardly no corn beef but loads of saurkrut.not very good.thanks to the waitress she took it of the bill
