Schwanenschlosschen - Freiberg

This small restaurant is located in the middle of a small Swan Lake. Very cozy atmosphere in the comfortably furnished guest room. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the lake. The menu offers a beautiful selection of typical local dishes.

We went here in the evening without reservations. We were happy because our favorite rest was closed. The location is beautiful, it is at the lake. The interior looks very good. We have ordered two different types of schnitzel. One was the special feature of the night with cheese on it, the other with mushroom sauce. I'm not sure if there was a new cook in the kitchen or if they had some bad meat, but the carving was so hard that it was almost unusable. The mushroom sauce was good. Maybe other foods could be better, but I would think if you have a special, it should be one of your best things on the menu.

I've been here twice. It's good traditional German cuisine but not exceptional. The setting is certainly idyllic. Parking is a problem.

Very interesting place in heart of Freiberg. It's located nearly lake, and you can observe very nice view from the terrace. Figure of swan on the lake is very pretty. We drank delicious kinds of beer at this place. But boorish demeanor of waiter was negative part of our visit.

We enjoyed at the place . At first we were going at a swan at the lake. Fantastic but heavy. Half hour for 8 €. We were sitting outside close to the lake . You can have there good regional foods and good desserts . We ordered only desserts and they were very tasty
