Little Dipper Shabu Shabu - Fremont

This place is the best hot pot in Fremont!! I have been here a few times and have had the best experience every time I come. This place is all you can eat, and the best thing about this place is that you get your own bowl of soup, so there is no sharing with your group or anyone else. They have great meat options, and I usually get the Kobe and Angus beef and the veggies. They also have options for hot and cold sake, which makes the hot pot experience ten times better. It is well priced for all you can eat compared to other places. The mala soup option is one of my favorite because it has a kick of spice, but you can add green chilies to give it extra zing. The seating arrangement is pretty spacious, so you do have to worry about over order and not having space on the table. The service here is impressive, and they are very quick with getting us what we need to enjoy our meal. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a hot pot. I will also be going back to enjoy this incredible place.

A well deserved five stars. When a restaurant actually brings you cold water vs room temperature with ice cubes in it, then you know it's about to be a great experience. Servers are readily available, always bringing orders They are constantly moving there and do not get upset if you flag them down. This is rare! At all of the AYCE places I've been to thus far, servers have purposefully ignored me when I flag them down. Not here, they take your request and keep it pushing. Deserving of a great tip and creates a comfortable ambiance! Such a varied selection of food dishes but one soup is staple I LOVE spice and the mall isn't too spicy but has a small kick that trumps the other soups. I make an effort to order all cuts of beef and sometimes add something fatty, like pork belly. The side additions like fish balls, tofu bean curds, and wood ear mushrooms are amazing. I am a huge fan of cracking a raw egg into my soup and fishing it out before it cooks thoroughly. I'd suggest that in your individual bowls or on top of the rice to give it a nice texture. I do tend to go overboard with the dipping sauces. There is a weird taste to the peanut sauce they have here, didn't sit well with my palate but everything else was great. Overall, solid spot for an AYCE fix. One of the few in the area that provides amazing service and quality food.

Me and the homie came through with empty bellies and practically had to get carried out and napped in the car before going home American Kobe, Angus Beef, Kobe Beef, Pork Belly, Napa Cabbage, we ordered so much other stuff but omg the Shabu Shabu here was sooooo good! It's been a while since I've been here and glad we came through. Thank you for the great food and awesome service!

Fine AYCE hotpot option for the area. Some of the vegetables' quality can be inconsistent/below average . For example we had very dirty unwashed mushrooms and chopped garlic with the bottoms untrimmed and a nice BUG crawling around in it. So it's hit or miss but fine to try if you really need your ayce hotpot fix.Food: 4/5

This is our favorite spot for hot pot date nights! We absolutely love the Chinese donut and the Tom Yum soup base. The Chinese donut is so delicious that the couple next to us ordered six of them! What I appreciate most about this place is the relaxing ambiance that allows us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. You can order until you're satisfied, but be mindful that your eyes might be hungrier than your stomach, so try to finish what you order! This place has all the essentials for mixing sauces, and their house sauce is fantastic on its own. I can't have hot pot without a great dipping sauce! A pro tip: when you're getting broth refills, don’t forget to ask for the soup base paste! I've been here so often that I've sat in every corner of the restaurant, and I'm confident you'll love it too! Thank you, Little Dipper, for always delivering a great experience!
