Contribuisci feedbackTo start with the positives Nate was a friendly, polite and prompt in his service. The Dal makhni was quite authentic and spiced perfectly (I went with 'spicy ' hotness). Good to see Jeera rice being complimentary with the Dal makhni, than the usual plain basmati rice. I was disappointed with the Jeera portion and felt I 'd need double those portion to go with the Dal portion (which was pretty normal). The paneer naughty naan was ok, and I didn 't find it different than having naan with paneer masala. I ordered Raita as a side to the naughty naan. The Raita was made up of yogurt and some ground spices. I was slightly disappointed that it didn 't have chopped veggies like onions and carrots, which you generally find in raitas. Small note There was a ceremony being conducted, next doors, which seemed an extension of the restaurant. I 'd probably have gone with delivery instead of dine in, had I been aware of the loud music being played next doors. Overall, the authentic Dal makhni has convinced me to visit this place again and try out the other dishes.
So my fiancé found this place and what intrigued him was the happy hour. So my mom, my fiancé and I went for happy hour and we were not disappointed!!! We tried several items. My favorite was the naught naan, my mom loved the wings and my fiancé enjoyed both of those. We also had the samosas they were ok and the hummus was also good. But what I haven?t mentioned yet is the drinks. The drinks were only $2 and they definitely hit the spot. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the mood for Indian food, drinks and decent prices.
Pros The naan was crisp once (so good), second visit it was burnt and extremely thick. The entrées are standard but the portions felt low for the there were very few pieces of panner/kofta; plenty of gravy tho. The falooda is truly what I loved. We ordered the panner tikka sizzler appetiser. Portion was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. The Gobi Manchurian is very sweet so that?s a straight up no for me. Cons service is always slow.. maybe need more servers during peak time (it was very crowded). And portion for entrées needs to increase.
Really good customer service. The server was really nice and patient. The chef came to check up on us. That was really sweet. The food was really good. I really liked the goat biriyani. Definitely would go there again ??
Our server was a scam artist. We went yesterday for our second time. The food is good, but we have had the same server both times and he is constantly pressuring us to buy more food. My wife and I decided on just sharing the butter chicken since that was our favorite last time and two entrees was too much food for us. Well, the food came out and they must have put in a kids order because our portion was laughable. We ate the whole thing and then ordered a second serving since we were still hungry, so out came the second full-sized entree. More than double our original entree size but still the same $18. It was simply an upsell tactic to make us order more food. We also got charged for extra rice even though there was supposed to be complimentary rice with each order. Basically our server was dishonest. Also, there was soggy bread in my water cup and my waiter acted bothered when I asked him to replace my dirty cup. Will not be coming back.
