The cashier and manager were so helpful during our visit. It was obvious that they care about quality of food and proud of the product they serve. Plus they had football on!!! Great experience.
I am an Uber driver. When I came to this restaurant to pick up my order today, the order that should have been completed long ago was still not completed. After waiting for more than 15 minutes, the order was finally completed. At this time, the restaurant clerk urged me to click on the confirmation button to pick up the order without giving me a chance to explain, and began to use extremely insulting words and swear words to despise me. This made me feel racially discriminated against. Not only that, After insulting me, he also insulted the child who helped me pick up the food. When we walked out of the restaurant and got into the car, the clerk chased us to the car and urged us to deliver the food quickly. This simply exceeded the moral bottom line that people should have. He is a disgrace to Texans. I hope you don’t order food from this restaurant. No matter you have been there or not, I don’t want you to eat under the service of a clerk with this kind of service attitude. Thank you.
I'm a delivery driver. When I came to this restaurant (Taco Shack at Frisco) to pick up my order today, my belated order had not yet been completed. After waiting for more than 15 minutes, the order was finally completed. At this time, the restaurant waiter urged me to click the confirmation button to get my meal without giving me a chance to explain, and began to use extremely insulting words and swear words to despise me. It made me feel like I was being racially profiled. Not only that, after he insulted me, he also insulted the child who helped me pick up the food. When we walked out of the restaurant and got into the car, the clerk chased us to the car, urging us to hurry up and deliver our food. This simply goes beyond the moral bottom line that humans should have. He is a disgrace to Texans. I hope you don't order from this restaurant. Regardless of whether you have been there or not, I don’t want you to eat under the service of a waiter with such a service attitude. Thanks.
Ever since I moved to N Texas, I have been searching for carne guisada. After several years, I’ve finally found it at Taco Shack in Frisco. Carne guisada is foreign to most N Texans, because it’s mainly served in South Texas. These guys are from Austin, so that makes sense. I grew up in San Antonio and ate carne guisada several times a week. If you haven’t tried a carne guisada soft taco, I highly recommend it. It’s basically stewed beef chunks in its own gravy. It’s normally served on a flour tortilla. They serve it like that at breakfast, but the Shack serves it with lettuce, tomato and cheese at lunch and dinner. It’s eaten plain. Order it that way. Their Spanish rice, barracho beans and refried beans are good. Haven’t tried black beans or breakfast tacos yet, but plan to. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The service and food is great, so far! I hope they add more Taco Shacks here!North Texas now has carne guisada and HEB grocery stores, both staples in S TX. Now, we need Bill Miller’s BBQ chain and Jim’s Restaurant chain up here!
