Wishbone - Gabriola

I was hoping to redesign my engagement ring and my wedding bandSasha listened to hopes for my new ring.

This boutique recently opened in a favourite getaway of mine, Steveston.

I've recently visit Steveston village and decided to stop by this very interesting jewelry store.

We each had a fish dish. Both were very well prepared and well presented. Good value. Food was fresh and included local sides - veggies grown organically on Gabriola Island.Good wine and cocktail menu. Limited, but good dessert menu. Wishbone offered dinner and dessert specials.

A wonderful store with so many interesting things - you could spend hours in here exploring. Highly novel items for the home, great gifts and cards, specialty foods (but well priced) and a great range of prepared foods, meat, seafood, soups etc. They make their own hummus and it has to be the best anywhere (I don't like sharing this fact in case it gets too popular and I won't be able to get it.)A real asset for Gabriola.
