Press Box - Galveston

One of my favorite local dive bar and restaurant on the Island! My out of town guest always request to go here! All the bartenders are friendly and great here! Tonight I did a Wedge Salad which was plentiful! My favorite is the Club sandwich and Tatar Tots which can be shared! If you want a low-key relaxed local environment, then stop by The Press Box! Over-rated. Prime rib was tough and over/under cooked. Baked potato wasn't done. My first bite was a big glob of cold butter. Salad and bread were okay. The waitress was very nice and good. Third star is for her.

Cozy bar with great food. Good amount of TVs a few were out of sync with each other which was kind of confusing and the TV over the bar had a pretty bad viewing angle. Bartender was very nice and attentive.

Absolutely the worst service you?ll ever receive. I sat at the bar and the bartender looked me in the eye but instead of a greeting and a drink order she walked away to tell her funny story to the 2 guys that weren?t interested. Food is mediocre at best. I kinda want to work here so I can give Zero Fukks and still get paid. Stay away!
