I was not aware that Tropical Smoothie was doing orders inside. They recently only took orders online vs. in person and customers had to just pick it up. Anyway, I called to place my order over the phone because the website was never user friendly (just generally at any of them) and I could never make my special request to get plant based meat anywhere. The person I spoke to was not professional. The person just hung up instead of actually saying bye, (she was not friendly at all). The location is not really in a great spot, but I walked in and normally I would see signs to pick up orders. There were no signs. Instead I waited in line to ask, and the girl seemed hesitant in showing me where my order was located; but she did walk me over to it and it was hidden in the corner of a square cubby. There was no way I could have seen that, especially with it being my first time at that location. I have had my fair share of bad experiences with hospitality at Tropical Smoothies, but it is safe to say I will never be visiting that one anymore.
Ciara Webb is the manager for this location and she is amazing. I had an issue with an order and she promptly corrected it. My coworkers joke about me going here everyday for lunch and this is an example of why. Amazing team and service. THANK YOU!
Love tropical smoothie but I'm starting to hate this location. Last time I was there the lady behind the counter ask me do you know what you want from a far. As if I didn't know what I wanted she could continue doing why she was doing. No greeting or anything. I work in good service as well and we are understaffed as well but I still make it my top priority to give exceptional customer service
I wonder if the bosses or managers realize they cancel DoorDash and Uber orders every day… their losing a lot of business… mots days I order, they cancel and say they can’t get the the order right now. Multiple times they’ve done that, I’ve driven up there to get my smoothie and they had no customers they were all just standing around.. I don’t get why they’re on DoorDash if they just cancel orders every time. They don’t blend the smoothies all the way half the time either. You never know when you’re gonna get chunks of ice and fruit in your smoothie. They need to take some notes from smoothie king about how to run a smoothie shop and I hope their bosses see this and realize they cancel all the DoorDash orders every day or Uber eats.
