I used to really look forward to the Pretzel crusted chicken, however on this last visit I found myself disappointed as they have changed a few things. A high point for this dinner used to be the delicious preparation of the potatoes, and now they have replaced them with boring, unexceptional redskins. The dijon cream sauce was not as tasty as usual, either. I am not sure why they messed with this dish. We probably now won 't visit as often, as many other items on the menu are readily available elsewhere.
The steak and Mill Burger were delicious! Happy they now use Bonner Farms beef. The potatoes were a little over cooked but had good flavor. I had the Turtle Cheesecake and my husband had plain cheesecake, neither were exceptionally good. It is nice they bring you a small pot of coffee to refill your cup yourself, but it is not insulated so it was cold when it was time to refill. I love the hot tea selection. I love the building and the atmosphere. The mill was built in 1804 so it has a lot of character and the decor is welcoming. Service was very good.
This place is a great local spot! The food tastes fantastic, portions are good size, and Joy seriously hustles to provide great service. Brother in law likes the beer. The meatballs were really good. Stuffed with mozzarella, tender with a crisp exterior laying on a slightly sweet pool of thick tomato sauce. I would definitely get this again! The fish and chips were good. Batter was a little thick, but flavorful and the fish was flaky. The fries seem fresh cut and double fried seriously good, but a little heavy on the salty seasoning for my liking.
Food is very good. Weird atmosphere. Not warm and inviting. Service is good but you're basically sitting in the kitchen.
Great service and excellent food. Had the mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce, excellent and very cheesy.
