Big Daddy's Bbq - Gary

Excuse me, but I couldn't wait to get home and eat!!! This place is a hidden gem! Let's talk about the sides. 1st, the Mac Cheese is what I've been waiting for my whole life, seasoned just right rich and creamy, the bake beans just the right amount of sweetness and tang to it!!! The coleslaw is nice and crunchy, with the right amount of everything you think Coleslaw should be!!!! The ribs did not disappoint me at all, tender, juicy, flavorful, and mouth popping ? no lie the sauce is a little different BUT it'll grow on you like seeds on a cha-pet!!! The staff was great, Miss Kia made sure I was taken care of, nice and kind, she made sure all my items were with me when I left!! I was so impressed with Big Daddys' establishment and his team that I hope you go experience the joy and comfort food I have, Thank you, Big Daddy and team, I will see you soon! P.S. I can feed my Dad and I on what I've spent in total!!! I've spent $39 on X-large tips, baked beans, coleslaw, Mac and cheese, banana pudding a pop, and an extra order of fries, with extra to spare,well worth it ?

I've been disappointed in this place before, but they took the cake on Mother's Day! The food was horrible! The rib tips were tough, the Mac and cheese was mid, the cabbage was just ok and my mother ordered a Turkey leg that was old and tasteless! The corn on the cob was sp overcooked a bear couldn't eat it! The charged 55 bucks for a vegetable tray that looked overcooked. I redused to eat any of the food and my family was so disappointed on Mother's Day! They outra be ashamed of themselves. Never, ever again!

Jerk ribs and links. The food was great as usual. The order taker does need to pay better attention to what she writes down. Because the food was terrific, the order taker got off the hook.

Food was less than satisfactory, I’ve had them a few times. It is a hit or miss however I’ve had more misses than hits. When I ordered this time I asked them to pls get it right as I don’t live in Gary there would be no way for me to return it. They cashier assured me they would only to get home see the fattiest meat literally like they spilt an order of fries between 3 orders. I won’t be returning due to again more misses than hits. I was just hoping I’d get to taste that taste I had from yrs ago. But I get it cooks change, recipes change. Oh well it was flavorful good at one time

The worst wait time I've experienced. It took me 30 minutes to get here and once here I've waited another 45 minutes. Unbelievable there's people that came 10 minutes after me and got their order. I do not recommend this place
