Southern Flavor - Gastonia

The food was horrible. Mac and cheese was dry and tasted like box mac and cheese and the cabbage was not seasoned and had an after taste. And the only gave me 2 chicken strips with a meal like it was a kids meal. Please do not waste your time or money there.

Hidden Gem I’ll go back again and again. The owner was very kind, approachable, and went beyond expectations. Tried at least 10 items and everything had good flavor. The amount of food we got for $28 was significantly more than anyone could expect. It’s a shame this isn’t a stand alone restaurant with parking because everyone should know about this place.

Omg! Omg!This has really been an experience that must be spoken off. I stopped in only for some dealings with the DMV, when I stepped over into the food court here at the mall and Gastonia and saw what options I had for a bite to eat. And out of those food establishments available Southern flavors reeled me in. I have to give props to all staff on duty during my lunch. The sales pitch from the gentleman at the food warmers counter, to the customer service from this gentleman and the co-worker on duty assisting with serving other customers, and the behind the scenes cook who prepares these items. If I could double the Stars I would on the review. Awesome food wonderful service and great cost. Oh by the way let me add fast awesome service and food

Never have had nicer service. All 3 men working were quick and extremely kind. We need more people like that in the world ? thank you all!!
