Ordered the classic breakfast with a fried slice at £6.50. It was very tasty, not greasy, lovely sausages, and a great portion. And the tea was especially nice, which isn't always the case in some cafés. The café soon became busy as it was already lunchtime. The interior was welcoming, clean and inviting, with a friendly lady serving. Will definitely call in again when next in Arnold Centre, based on our experience today. (The only downside, and hence only 4 stars, was the condition of the toilet, which needed some serious attention.
I'm not sure if the restaurant is under new ownership, but it is now known as FRONT STREET CAFE. The breakfast is still pretty good.
I really enjoy this restaurant for their delicious breakfast. It's difficult to find a good full breakfast these days, but they do an excellent job. Today, I went with my children and the food was perfect, as always. The staff is always friendly, even when they are busy. This is our go-to place for breakfast in Arnold and will likely continue to be. I will mention that if you have a stroller, it's fine if you're the only one in the restaurant, but it can get a bit crowded if there are multiple strollers blocking the aisles. Other than that, thank you to the staff!
Called here 10 am ish for a breakfast the place was busy ,we ordered and paid at the till and the food was brought to us. The food was your average greasy spoon breakfast and there was plenty ,the best part about the whole thing was the price definitely cheap eats.
I was brought to this restaurant by a friend (he had to go off though). Ordering was very easy and the lady who runs it was really nice. The mushroom omelette I had was very nice and delivered as fast as it could be cooked. The chips were hot and crisp, and the salad was really fresh. I would happily go again.
