The restaurant is small (only five tables in the main room and has a few private parking spaces where I could easily park my vehicle. After I opened the door, I practically landed right next to the vault and was greeted from there. Operation I asked for a place for me alone and was pointed to a table in the safe room, the tables in the main room are all reserved. I took place there, a waiter appeared immediately and covered the place, shortly after that came an operation, handed me the card and explained what was already “out” from the daily offers written on slate boards. The head of the house also worked in the service, he had his eyes seemingly everywhere and gave instructions to his employees from time to time. In most cases this was not necessary, but the service staff were all very friendly and attentive. Essen Unfortunately is on the current homepage of the restaurant (Stand 19. March 2014 no menu deposited, but I think that there was one more in the previous month. [here link] Anyway, I just took a look at the map. From the daily offers, the “back from the Duroc with roasted green asparagus and scrub noodles on Cranberry-Jus” (17,90 €, which I ordered, was also a mineral water (0,25l for 2,30 € . The water was also served immediately, a little later the boss brought greetings from the kitchen: laid mushrooms and marinated carrots, with fresh white bread. The waiting period for the food was a little longer, as the food was first brought out for the other guests in the main room. Then my food came on an approximately square plate with the known waveform. On a bed of asparagus pieces and scrub noodles lay a powerful piece of pork back of about 3.5 cm thickness, with freshly ground pepper. There was also a ball of herbal butter, but, as I found in the aftermath, the cranberry jus was missing. But what was on the plate was practically perfect: The asparagus crisp with bite and tasteful, the scrub noodles tasted neatly. The pork ridge itself was a poem, tender and full of taste, as I haven't eaten for a long time. Very delicious and highly recommended! Ambiance The facility is deliberately designed “trashig” that contrasted in bonbonrosa padded armchairs with the tables that were correctly covered with white fabric tablecloths. Armchairs and sofas in the main room had green velvet covers, there were numerous pot flowers on the window benches and tulips in small vases on the tables. The tress area is covered with “old newspapers” all around, on the wall there is a splendour in oil with gold rim. The tress itself is almost seamlessly covered with picture frames, the hanging lamps consist of plastic strips twisted into one another. Here has the style break method, you can like it or not. Cleanliness Apart from two small crumbs on the floor (the beer garden had already opened this day, perhaps from there the restaurant was well maintained, glasses, dishes and cutlery were perfectly clean. I did not visit the toilet (maybe I should do, who knows how the facility is there, so there is no statement.
