When someone who was in Vietnam several times and lived in Southeast Asia for a longer time, I have an idea of how Vietnamese cuisine tastes and the maison d’asie offers exactly that. starting with the pho bo, which is very. chic and also comes with the correct amount of greens on the side. the highlight for me are the grilled dishes, like the beef five seasoned or the lemongrass huh, which really stands out. the dishes are good for lunch, as they are quite light and come with a lot of fresh salad and crumble. as with the negative. the space itself lacks any kind of charm. the decor and decoration are very random and do not really fit. but overall, eating is still out, which is why I would still give it staring.
This is a restaurant that I find Vietnamese eating very tasty and affordable because the Swiss is a country with an expensive lifestyle. beautiful restaurant with elegant decoration, courtesy service
A group of us tried this restaurant on a Monday evening because most of the other restaurants in the area were closed and it was too late for us to go to the grocery store to buy a sandwich. The long and short of it...is that this property is at the low end of the scale. The orders were not taken properly and two of the three dishes that were ordered had to be replaced. One of our companions ordered a glass of red wine that could be best described as plonk'. When delivering the plates the servers and their thumbs on the top of the plates or the inside of the bowls. Seated anywhere near the kitchen one was entertained by the yelling coming from the waiters in the kitchen staff. One of the waiters was wearing a shirt that definitely needed cleaning and hanging out of his rear pocket was a towel that was nothing short of filthy. While the prices were not in outrageous , nevertheless, the equivalent of five US dollars for a portion of fried rice that was little more in size and a cup was certainly pushing the envelope. A few steps further down the block was a delightful Thai restaurant that ranks head and shoulders above this dismal excuse for a restaurant
