Very pleasant stay. Food in the restaurant is good and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Location is lovely. The canal towpath is particularly nice and you can walk a long way in both directions along clean water with lots of wildlife.

Very good. Plenty of tables inside and out. Good setting with boats and ducks on the canal. Food very good quality and quantity. Relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your meal and visit. Staff efficient and friendly. Priced about right for the experience. Will go again. Update went again 18th September 2022. Food still as good but restaurant staff seemed to be disorganized, don't know if there was a staff shortage. We had to wait for service, drinks took ages to appear. Seemed to be a long time before our food was even ordered. Had to approach staff to get attention. When desserts came we had to wait 10 minutes for two bowls of ice-cream to arrive after the first desserts came. We were in the restaurant for 2 hours 40 mins for a meal that should have took an hour less at least. Tables were left uncleared after other people had left for over half an hour. Please sort this out and get back to how you were.

Great discovery, enjoyed my meal and could not complain about the service. the atmosphere was spoiled by some other guests, but this is hardly the disorder of restaurants. vegetarian options: good choice in the menu parking space: many parking spaces are available.
