Double Black - Golden

Great coffee and atmosphere. Good nachos are hard to find but theirs did NOT disappoint. Plenty of toppings :

I went up to kicking horse lodge for a beautiful hike, and Double Black delivered far more then that.From the 10/10 staff, who were happy to talk and reccomend places to hike nearby, to the Vanilla bean ice cream, which was delicious and only rivaled by Avalon Ice cream, Double Black Cafe is a must go if you are in town.The coffee was delicious, and when I had nothing to do nearby, they provided me with something to read and color with.This kind of service is rarely found nowadays, and I will be coming back 100

Really nice setting. Found it was incredibly over priced for what you got. $17 for a yogurt parfait that had mediocre ingredients. Very pleasant staff though.

A MUST-STOP. If you're going anywhere near Kicking Horse, I would highly recommend stopping in for a bite and a drink at Double Black. The owner, Kat, is so hospitable, the service is amazing, and the food is to-die-for. We've now eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner at this cafe, and they catered borth breakfast and lunch for a large gathering that we had on the resort. It was exquisite. Highly recommend!

Great food, excellent coffee and friendly customer service. My fav place on the hill!
