Pretty muc everything on the menu is delicious, everytime! I docked a star because unfortunately I've had multiple ordered messed up and overcharged on an occasion. With it being a take home meal, it isn't worth going all the way back (especially sense literally everything I've eating there is delightful).
If they come back from the coast or this direction, they should not do this! you can't just turn in from hwy 70. you just go by and make a U change. they will not correct it! I usually go on. I feel stupid now. this is not dry bbq. the sweet sauce is also great. make sure they get a few. they will come to them to get their order for security.
The black was excellent, no sauce was needed. they also cut cracklin to add an additional kick with it. the bbq huhn was also delicious, with a very well balanced homemade Bbq sauce. a very good imitation of collar, my only complaining would be the kartoffel salad. the potatoes were boiled and the seasoned were only average. However, worth overall, they need to turn to travel west bound to 70.
Everything was fantastic! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the place was clean. The smoked black brisket, collar, and coleslaw were all outstanding! The brisket was probably the tenderest I've ever had. I loved the unique sauce on the pulled pork, and the collard greens were incredibly tasty! I'm not sure what they did differently with the coleslaw (it had a different cut and dressing than I'm used to), but it was the best I've ever had. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area! Just a note: this is a BBQ stand, not a restaurant. You order inside, and there are outdoor seating options available.
