Agave Jalisco Mexican - Goliad

We've eaten twice here and the food was good. Unfortunately, when we left last night, I found a hair in my beans. I can't eat here again, and I'm sad about it. Your food is pretty decent.

We stopped going here for several problems with the service. After we heard that they were under new management, we decided to give them another attempt. The food was really good, but the service was still difficult. The waitress was very nice, but she never came back to our table after taking over our food order. My wife had to go from our table to the bar to ask for drinks. All the time, our waitress and some other workers sat at the bar and looked at their phones. It was on Saturday afternoon and we were the only people there! Four workers sit around and do nothing, and they couldn't take care of their only customers? Our dirty dishes stayed on the table while we finished our last drink. Nobody checked us. The only person who really worked was the lady who brought us the chips and the girl who pushed the floor, definitely not the servers.

Friendly and good menu selection. Pretty in the building. Seasoning was a little... strange, or at least certainly not what I expected to be used to. 3 different entrées had the same taste. I think maybe it's a signature style and I'm sure some people absolutely love it nothing wrong with it, but I don't have much fun in the taste. Just half finished.

We stop after we left the Austin region that leads to Corpus Christi, and what a great surprise! Excellent food and service, plus the coffee was very hot. The tacos are huge; on homemade maize tortillas??? and quite expensive! I think it's worth making a Sunday drive just to get out of here and eat! Junior loves it here too! Thanks for the great service and the excellent food!

Had a White Russian and piña colada 3 lemonades Food was warm and small portions. Waitress only checked on us twice. They didn 't have any blended drinks b/c they didn 't have a blender at the time. Maybe next time will be better. Careful they charge for refills smh. 64$
