Very good food....French cuisine and others. 5 star service. very delicate and chic decoration. perfect for an evening meal with frieze or business.
We had to eat in other place because there were 2 waiters for like 20 tables. 30 min waiting only to clean the table. Air conditioning didnt work properly. No body cares about these issues. Clean and non noisy rooms.
We just spent two nights at the Hotel le Castel, we purchased the deal for the hotel and granby zoo with breakfast, the deal on their website is $318 for four people which is pretty good. We decided to stay another night and that's where...the shocker hit upon checkout. The charged us an extra $170 for one extra night. This hotel is stuck between an old motel with some upgrades done to it. We stayed in room 305 and the room was spacious but yet somewhat outdated, especially for the price of $170, I've stayed in much nicer and better hotels for alot less. The beds were comfortable, the wifi worked very well with no issues. The bathroom was really dated from the 70's, blue tile with signs of dirty grout lines in the shower and some funky white old school tiles on the ground. If going to the zoo you won't spend much time in you room, so therefore, it's a great place to crash if you see beyond the outdated room. I would recommend the deal of $318 but beyond that don't get the extra night at $170. One thing I will say that it's very kid friendly and the breakfast was amazing. Very tasty and fresh.
The food was delicious! Our meals were excellent and the drinks were also very tasty. We were served by two lovely servers who treated us like royalty.
