The verde was not too spicy not but citrus-y. The rice and beans were decent. Would have been fours starts except: The chips were the worst I've ever had a Mexican restaurant--not a good flavor! And there was a half dead bug wiggling on the table when we got there--yewww...
Decided to give this place a try since it's not to far. Went in and was greeted and saw right away. They took our drink order and brought chips and salsa. To me and our party, the salsa was great. Just a bit of a spicy bite to it. Perfect for me. Not to hot, kind of mild, but a nice taste to it. Next was the appetizer. A steak quesadilla. Very good. I liked the steak. I posted a picture. We then ordered 2 burrito grandes and a California burrito. We all thought they were very good. Ate half and took the rest home. I will go back to try the fajitas next. I'll let you know how that goes. In the mean time, happy eating.
The service here is always great! The menu is extensive and has reasonable prices. The fajitas and retried beans are my favorite! My husband likes the burritos and enchiladas. When we crave Mexican food this is the perfect neighborhood place to go!
The food her is delicious. The lunch and dinner specials are generous. Their guacamole is superior. Chips and salsa heavenly. Can you tell we really enjoyed our meals here? This is the greatest food find we have found since moving here last year.
Just the type of greasy, authentic Mexican food I love! Recommend getting the queso with the salsa and chips that come out automatically, it was sooo yummy. Meal was solid- I got the enchilada, taco, and beans or rice meal and it was around $8.50. Can't get a meal that cheap anywhere anymore!
