We enjoyed a leisurely lunch while the kids drifted in and...out of the restaurant, enjoying the lovely playground. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I would definitely recommend the fish dishes, which were all great; the meat dishes were fine but not exciting.
It's the restaurant from the Pecos camping and it is nicely settled on the lake. When we went there the service was a bit slow but to be faire it was a sunny saturday at lunch time. So quiet a buy time. We had one...plate of fish (good one) and one of meat (just average). They offer double service of french fries but the quantity was honest and we didn't need it.
The pecos is located in grandson, about 300 meters in front of the city border of yverdon. it is part of the communal camp site and is located a short stone's throw away from the lake. from the outside it looks ramshackle and completely uninviting, but step inside and. they will discover a huge escapade. verily, the decor is not existent, so it needs something mute to take a place for the first time visitors. first, the employees are very welcoming and, as later, efficient. this visit was in the middle of oktober, so the menu not only a selection of fresh water fish, but also game. you can eat à la carte, but there is also a menu with the choices of the appetizers and the main. the wine list is also extensive and offers not only fine local wines, but also weine from other Swiss regions, mostly to cheap trips. we all had the tag menu, price at 48 francs (from $50). We chose a starter of chanterelle mushrooms, beautifully presented on a glass plate with a piece of meat terrarium and salat. our main course was the house speciality, filets served by cash with perfect riders. too often perch filets are overboiled and become hard and dry, but these remained soft and damp. a part is quite significant, but if you take the à la carte dish, an additional help is very favorable. dessert was a poched birne, sorbet and a feige preserved; again artistically presented, very tasty and light. weine are available by glass, pitcher or bottle. there is a great selection of drinks after dinner, including an amazing selection of rounds and whiskys. Almost everyone was occupied, this was a Thursday, so it is advisable to reserve a table. (phone 024 445 24 76) .es gives enough free parking before and on the side of the restaurant. to sum up the pecos, you hesitate to enter, but leave completely satisfied. it is worth testing his mut.
A beautiful local restaurant that has expanded its seating area to offer outdoor seats under the green of the park. there are plenty of shades among the trees at hot days. the view of the sea adds an extra relaxing atmosphere, with children in the simple...view distance in the play area, if necessary. I ate fish fillets and fries with ice to follow. all very good. service was friendly and warm.
This restaurant is located at the lac Neuchâtel, it has playground next to it, so it is good to go with children. her specificity is sweetwater fish, and I had ferra from the neuchâtelsee. it tastes good, but I found a bit dry and oily. dessert was. good and service was great!
