Afghan Salang - Greater Dandenong

Last Sunday we visited Dandenong for Melbourne open house. Having visited Melb W,after SE treatment plant we had walked for hours we were Hungary. We rang this restaurant and although they weren't open till 1pm they said come early and would open up early for us.Top meal, lovely friendly service and good tasty food.Highly recommend

Went there for a business catch up before work.Food was amazing - no complaints from anyone in our group. The kebabs and the bread were delicious.Service was outstanding - the waiter (I suspect the owner) explained every dish that was brought to our table and was never far away if we needed anything. He was probably the best host I've ever met - paying so much attention to our group and it shows how much he cares for the business.We were in a small group of 6 but this place would be ideal for large groups as well. Would also be family friendly.Can't wait to go back again. My mouth is already watering. Never knew this place existed because I don't go to dandenong much but I see this will become one of my favourite places to eat!Well done to the owners of this business.

In Dandenong on business - visited Afghan Salang for dinner - just superb food and service - the kebabs are melt in your mouth and the afghan tea with a little afghan sweet the perfect way to finish a meal

I have been wanting to visit for sometime now and so glad I did. Took my 80 year old aunt who is always up for something different and I can safely say it didnt disappoint. We loved it here! Food and service at its best. We had a 4 meat banquet and each dish was delicious without exception. Will definitely be back and next time will take my friends with me.
