Steaks were small, undercooked (well done was almost raw, blood poured) and had large fatty bits. Manager said he would send gift tokens, despite not being wanted, took name and address. Guess what nothing came... micky D or B King would be better. Thing is friend had same sort of experience, kerbside take away, with his food. Give your money to charity rather than waste it here.
Prompt, courteous seating was followed by deliciously cooked to order meal. Steak was far superior to competing chains with either ;Long ; or ;Lone ; in their names! My ice tea glass was kept full and that is very important to me. Waitress was not pushy but was very available to our party. Among so many varying restaurants, this is one of Greensboro 's constants!
My husband and I recently moved to northwest Greensboro and have been checking out some of the restaurants in the neighborhood. The Longhorn Steak House and Saloon was the very best. We had the 4 ounce luncheon steak with steamed veggies and the lettuce wedge salad. Excellent! The steak was prepared to our liking, juicy and tender; the veggies were just right not soggy and over done. And, the lettuce wedge salad was a scrumptious surprise and delight! The prices were as good as the food.
