Chili Coco - Greenslopes

We ordered a medium spiced green curry hoping for some heat, but it was disappointingly mild. My husband ordered the massaman curry, but the beef was chewy and undercooked, causing him to only eat half. On the positive side, the coconut rice, fried wontons, and dim sims were delicious. Our delivery person was friendly and punctual, earning 5 stars from us. However, we were disappointed that the food did not live up to the great reviews we had read. We were expecting something more.

Recently visited this charming Thai restaurant in Stones Corner with a group of friends. The interior was modern and not your typical Thai restaurant vibe. The food was absolutely delicious! I have been to several Thai restaurants in the area, and this one definitely stands out.

Our group visited this restaurant on a Wednesday night almost exactly 2 years ago, and I just reread my review from that time. Everything I mentioned back then is still true, although we may have had to wait a bit at that time (though I can't exactly remember). This time, however, we did not have to wait, even though we made the lovely young lady who served us wait as we debated what to order. We enjoyed a wonderful meal, with the Massaman curry, made with high-quality beef, being one of the best I have ever had. Once again, we had a pleasant and relaxed experience in the cozy and peaceful atmosphere that allowed for easy conversation. And the best part? It only cost us about $30 each. I had concerns last time about the restaurant surviving in the challenging Stones Corner area, but it has proven its resilience and deserves to thrive. I recommend giving it a try soon. The only reason we haven't been back in 2 years is due to the logistics of catering to everyone's preferences in a city with so many good BYO restaurants, which means we don't revisit good restaurants as often as we would like.

Good large portions for family. Not entirely authentic, I think flavours can be improved. Green curry was great, but stir fry not so much. Good ambience and service.
