The Maid-rite Sandwich Shoppe

This place is a nostalgic gem. The menu is like an old lunch counter. Small drive-thru with a bit of a wait time. But well worth the wait. You can gaze at the gum wall that's like a piece of art. Apparently, it's something that just stuck...Lol, pun intended. The sandwiches were delicious, as well as the cherry banana shake I consumed.

It was a great place my first time here and it was amazing. Their ham and cheese is so good not to mention the normal maid rite and cheese rite are out of this world. Definitely check it out.

I love the old school sandwich shop vibe of Maid-Rite. Fast unfussy food at a reasonable price served by friendly helpful staff. The bubblegum wall is disgusting but whatever. Grab yourself a sack of cheese-rites and get on down the road.

The food is always great, but it 's a shame that their customer service is so spotty. I live well over an hour away and I frequently do orders for pickup, but the rules for pickup are always changing. First, I 'm told they don 't do carryout orders at all. Then I 'm told that if I order over 20 I can do carryout. Then when I try to order carryout it 's suddenly, it won 't take that long, just come wait in line. When I 'm driving over an hour away and ordering over 20 sandwiches, I expect the courtesy of being able to do this as a carryout order. Previously I had no issue with this, I paid over the phone with my card, and everything was fine. However, half the time I can do this and half the time I can 't depending on who answers the phone, and that really needs to be put in check. Completely ruined my anniversary that I couldn 't enjoy the food with my wife. I will never come back again because of the inconsistency and attitude of the staff. Food gets a 4 star, everything else is a 1 unfortunately.

Great place to grab their famous Made-Rite sandwiches. Place reminds me of a hamburger place from the 60's. Love it
